Together with the Philharmonischer Chor Berlin, we give a concert as a tribute to and wish for Peace.
The concert was supposed to have taken place in May 2020, 75 years after World War II ended, but had to be postponed due to the pandemic.
The concert connects Verdi's a cappella work Quattro Pezzi Sacri with Ralph Vaughan Williams' peace message Dona Nobis Pacem for choir, orchestra and vocal soloists.
We also have the honour of making the premiere performance of Te Deum by Sven David Sandström, one of the last works that this most famous contemporary componist created before he passed away in 2019.
