New year concert 2020

Celebrate the new decade with the traditional new year concert of the Academy Chamber Choir of Uppsala, the 37:th of its kind.

Listen to one of the most highly acclaimed Swedish choirs with guests: the world famous artist and Swedish royal court singer Anne Sofie von Otter, acclaimed actress Stina Ekblad, and jazz piano virtuoso Lennart Simonsson. And, as usual, the phenomenal Drottningholm Baroque Ensemble. The theme of the concert is music by Ludwig van Beethoven and his contemporaries, as 2020 is the 250-year anniversary of Beethoven. It is performed on traditional Viennese classical instruments and conducted by Stefan Parkman.
